Why Curling Is The Best Sport Ever
Ok, before you write me off as a complete lunatic, hear me out...
Think of what we consider to be "cool" sports... most involve balls. Hitting a ball, kicking a ball, putting a ball into a basket, goal, or a hole.
Now don't get wrong, I know nothing about the actual sport of curling. Nothing about the rules or players, but what I think is so cool is the physics behind the sport. I mean, think about it. By brushing the ice, the friction creates the ice to melt, therefore allowing the rock to be positioned within the desired area (if all works well.) From a scientific point of view, its actually a very cool game. Too bad, you look like a tool while doing it.
God, I'm such a fucking nerd.
